We took a little trip into the wild earlier this week to one of our favorite places. This handsome hubs of mine wanted to have a family day. You don't have to ask me twice to agree to a fun day off for him- he works hard between his job and the electrical engineering program he's in. If anyone deserves a little break, it's him. I booked our zoo tickets (to embrace our wild side and our kids' monkey sides) and we ventured down south for the day. The high was 25 for the morning and 31 for the day (wild side, indeed!)
He still makes me swoon eleven years later!
I love the duo wood tone of the band! It really stands out!

There are some things in life that are a joy. Doing life with this guy is one! Blessing him with special things in life (like the watch and some special memories) is another! He does every role he has so well- office specialist, engineering student, son, husband, friend, and Dad. It's neat to see him living out his dream of being a dad. The kids just delight in sharing moments with him. We haven't had a family day for a while so it was just special. (And cold. It was freezing cold. But the smiles warmed my heart and my toes!)
I had to get a picture of our own monkey with the monkeys :)
